The last day of 2017, local media reports it could be the coldest weather in over 100 years (from CBC.ca). We will get lower than –30 C easily in 2018 new year eve. It is interesting, we want to measure the temperature in person to confirm it will be really –30C. We just realized we have a Non-contact digital laser thermometer, mostly it is used in our kitchen room during cooking, we measure the temperature in stove. Today we are going to use it to measure weather temperature.

Our tool is Mastergrip digital laser thermometer.

In the package there are digital laser thermometer, 2 AAA batteries, hanging lanyard and manual.

There is a LCD monitor on the thermometer. Also, we can see a function directly: at least we can switch the temperature unit between C and F degree by press that red button.

Pull down the battery housing cover and install 2 AAA batteries.

Now the digital laser thermometer is ready to use. Just aim to object and press the trigger, hold several seconds and we will see the object temperature.
